Is the market in the metroplex doing better than the national news portrays the national market? I'm not sure if I should wait or go ahead and put my house on the market. What do you suggest?

The market is still going well here, even brisk in some zips. But before you get on the market get a critical eye to check the condition and presentation value of the home. There is competition, so don't leave anything to chance. Attention to the details will definitely make the biggest difference in whether you find a qualified buyer at all. With the choices available, folks can be a bit more selective.
